
This is a blog devoted entirely to the exceptionally gorgeous and striking 6'3'' John Taylor (b. Nigel John Taylor, on June 20th, 1960 in Hollywood, Birmingham, England) bassist of international pop group Duran Duran, and supergroup The Power Station. John has been active with Duran Duran since 1981 to present times, excluding 1985, which he and guitarist Andy Taylor embarked on a project called The Power Station, collaborating with Robert Palmer, and Chic drummer Tony Thompson. John re-joined Duran in 1986 in which the band recorded Notorious. John left the band in 1997 to concentrate on a solo career. John has also dabbled with acting a bit, one of which he played Clive in the 1999 film Sugar Town. From 1986 to 1989 John dated Danish model Renee Toft Simonsen, and then he married Amanda De Cadenet in 1991, they had one daughter, Atlanta Noo, in 1992. John married his current wife, co-founder of Juicy Couture, Gela Nash in 1999. John re-joined Duran in 2004 and is faithfully involved with the band currently. They just recorded their 13th studio album, All You Need Is Now.
